All sightings reports are treated in strict confidence and are only seen by administrators. Reports are used to assess the status of the Mull and Iona otter population e.g. are they catching enough food? And to assist us in situations such as a cub found abandoned or if a lactating female otter is found dead, to help assess how many cubs may be at risk.
